We had a large deck and fence built by the crew from Star Fencing, and we cannot say enough about this experience.
From our first request for a quote, Fardin and Sam were happy to come out and walk the yard with us, discuss options, and make incredible suggestions. While we changed our minds and redesigned our dream deck over and over, Fardin was a true professional to work with, and provided input and pricing at every step.
When the day finally came, we were stunned at how quickly the crew had our old deck and fence down and ready for disposal. The crew was respectful, friendly, and great to work with - when we hit little speedbumps in communication of our needs, they were attentive and worked to meet our every expectation - even when it meant more work for them or was inconvenient. Over the course of about 5 or 7 work days, the crew raised a fabulous work of art. We are the envy of the neighbourhood!
The ONLY thing Star could have done differently would be to communicate their work schedule in advance. This is forgivable - weather makes things complex - but planning around work days becomes difficult when you don't know which days those could be.

Let me just say, our previous deck was a sinking disaster, and after meeting Fardin and his crew on site during our quoting stage, I knew they were the right team. They were completely engaged with my ideas and answered all of our questions. They came in & took the old deck out and wasted no time getting the new one started. The arrived same time every morning and worked till the sun went down. And yes I made changes along the way and without hesitation they were completely on board. After several longs days, our deck is exactly what we discussed.

I am totally satisfied with the 3 new fences we had installed by Star Fencing in June 2020. We researched and received quotes from multiple fencing companies in KW. At the end of the day Star Fencing won us over with a competitive quote and really great customer service. We needed a bit of a unique design solution to fit a unique space in our yard. Before we received a final quote, Fardin (who I believe is the sales and customer contact rep) actually returned to my house a second time with the boss to explain our needs and to get his expert opinion. His ideas ended up being the most economical of any other company’s and the end product looks great! We had 2 iron fences plus gates and 1 wooden deck fence plus gate installed. I guess they have different crews for each but I can say that both crews were a pleasure to deal with. Quality work all around, couldn’t be happier!
